Porcelain Crab

This little creature is less than 2cm wide.

Porcelain crabs (a crustacean from the Porcellanidae family) are not only very small, but also very fragile, and will often shed limbs to escape predators - hence their name.

They feed by waving around a pair of feathery structures held near its mouth (clearly seen in the image), using them like baskets to strain plankton out of the water.
