Griffon in quartzite wall

The "Salto del Gitano" (or Gypsy Fall) is a massive block of cuartzite, more than 300m tall, overlooking the Tajo river, in the middle of Monfrague NP. It has a permanent colony of Griffon Vultures (Gyps fulvus), and it is an absolutely privileged place to observe them at close quarters, in this natural habitat of precipitous vertical walls.
