Galapagos Islands

Unique endemic fauna
A very different trip from my beloved Africa, the Galapagos archipelago is an amazing "lost world" where one can get incredibly close to different and exciting (many of them endemic) species.

The Galapagos belong to Ecuador, and being close to the Equator, can be visited any time of the year. Check carefully with a natural history magazine or an specialist travel agent, as each time of the year yields different wildlife sightings.

The islands have to be visited by boat - which makes this trip a great combination: a unique wildlife experience, a relaxing cruise, plus snorkeling, diving... Highly recommended.
